How It Works

The system operates around three primary entities: Organizations, Services, and Queue Entries. An organization registers on the platform and configures its business profile, including operating hours, available days, and location details. Administrators then define the services they offer — such as "General Consultation", "Document Processing", or "Account Inquiry" — each with an estimated duration.

Customers browse available organizations, select a service, choose a date and time slot, and join the queue — all from a web browser or mobile device. The system assigns a unique queue number and tracks their position in real time.

Multi-Tenant Architecture

A single deployment serves multiple organizations simultaneously. Each organization operates in its own isolated context with its own services, queue entries, staff members, and settings. A role-based access control system governs permissions: superadmins manage the platform, organization admins run their own operations, moderators assist with queues, and end users join queues and receive notifications.

Intelligent Queue Engine

The queue engine supports priority-based ordering, meaning urgent cases can be escalated above normal entries automatically. Staff members can call the next customer, skip entries, mark services as completed, or flag no-shows — all through a dashboard interface that updates in real time. This ensures that critical cases are handled first while maintaining fairness for all customers in the queue.

Real-Time Notifications

When a customer's turn arrives, the system delivers alerts through multiple channels. Firebase Cloud Messaging handles push notifications for background users. A real-time polling mechanism delivers instant in-app alerts for active users. Email notifications through SMTP handle appointment confirmations, verification emails, and password resets — keeping everyone informed at every step.

QR Code Integration

To bridge the gap between physical locations and digital queue management, the system includes a built-in QR code generator. Organization administrators can generate and print QR codes that link directly to their queue page. Customers visiting a physical location simply scan the code with their phone — no app installation required — and instantly join the queue from their browser.

Scheduling & Calendar

Beyond walk-in queue management, the system includes a full appointment scheduling module. Organizations can offer time-slot-based booking where customers choose a specific date and time. The scheduler features conflict detection to prevent double-booking, drag-and-drop rescheduling, and multiple calendar views. Scheduled appointments integrate seamlessly with the live queue on the day of the visit.

Analytics & Insights

The analytics module provides real-time queue statistics including current queue length, average wait time, and customers served today. Historical trend analysis and performance metrics help organizations identify peak hours, optimize staffing levels, and improve overall service quality — turning raw queue data into actionable business intelligence for smarter decision making.

Payments & Subscriptions

The platform integrates with Stripe for payment processing, supporting both direct payments and the Stripe Connect model for marketplace-style transactions with a configurable platform fee.
